The Chef from J.Paul's will be facing off against the Chef Old Glory to see who has the best hot wings. How does this relate to beer? Well they will be quenching burning taste buds with beers from Annapolis' Fordham Brewery and local fave (turned big brewery) Old Dominion.
The event will feature the hot wing cook off where guest judges will determine the winners of the 4 rounds-- Classic, Jim Beam Red Stag Signature, "4 Alarm" Grill, and People’s Choice Wings. An online recipe contest was also held and the winner of that will be brought on as the guest chef to challenge the pros in the final round. There will also be a buffalo wing eating contest.
You can still get tickets at www.buffalobattle.com for $20 per person in advance, or $30 per person the day of the event. Ticket price includes all you can eat wings, 2 drink tickets per person, all-day beverage specials at J. Paul’s, Old Glory BBQ and Third Edition, and a Raffle to include entry into the Wing Eating Competition. Proceeds go to benefit the DC Firefighters' Burn Foundation. It's happening at Wisconsin and M in Georgetown from 1 to 5PM.
